We are a team of young professionals, role models and change makers who inspire and educate our peers to use their talents and skills for positive social change.

Mission: Our mission is to develop positive young change-makers in informal settlement in Kenya.

Vision: Our vision is to have a society of self-confident young people who inspires positive change by using their talents and skills.

Wilsen Initiative spots talents amongst the young people and nurture it to the right direction by providing the much needed platforms for a young person to grow and express themselves starting with Mathare slums in Nairobi and later all over Kenya.

My name is Wilson Masaka Magambo (alias : Wilsenx, Captainy, Coach, Oruma, Champion, Willy and Maja), I’m a Web developer/ designer, IT Trainer and Football coach from Nairobi, Kenya. I have worked with NGO’s and youth groups in the areas of web design, Skill development, Community development, Peer education and Youth empowerment programs for more than a decade.

I run a community centre called Wilsen Initiative (Wi) which seek to Inspire, Connect and Educate (ICE) youth in skills and knowledge that will address the gaps in the society especially amongst the youth in informal settlements. Talents and skills utilization is our greatest tool at Wilsen Initiative (Wi) whereby encouraging young people to believe in themselves and be agents of change with the philosophy of change that starts from within.

My aspirations…
I would love to build on this experiences by combining my passion for sports, leadership, technology and youth empowerment with my interest in interacting, sharing knowledge with people from different cultures and backgrounds in making the World a better place.

Interests and Hobbies
