Dennis Maingi Karanja is currently a part time / on need basis Communication Specialist and also a professional freelance Graphic Designer. Having been through publishing trainings, he is experienced and expert in writing, editing, proofreading and design of materials for print and web; He is a trained IT(JKUAT) expert, graduate designer(Nairobi University), experienced researcher, consultant and trained project manager.

He has attended various short management courses, conducted trainings and initiated several community projects.

Dennis Maingi started as a book illustrator with Acacia publishers as book illustrator. He moved from illustration and into graphics design for Mvule publishers. He worked as lead designer for Headline Prints Media House for some years before joining Kuona Trust as a Communications specialist.

Later he started Shikanga Ent. A graphics firm. At shikanga, he has worked for UNWomen, WEL, Kuona Trust, Wamucii Selina among other NGOs.

He has also worked for individuals.

• To do a design package to be distributed to different cooperates
• To add another design machine preferably a core I 7
• To move into Shikanga Office (Currently working from a Studio at Kuona Trust)
• Buy an A3 printer and add more workers
• Devolve the services to other counties both online and having physical stations there
